The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions for the community.
SASSA might be rendering providers like new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In an announcement, the agency reported it truly is alarmed in regards to the high amount of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your higher amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This can be due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office dedicated to service the area daily. The service stage produced for intervention ordeals a significant inflow of likely beneficiaries, that status sassa makes it tough to the Workplace to attend to all people who stop by a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more assets to empower the servicing of all prospects and improve entry to Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
